Product Description:
The Girodisc Two-Piece Floating Rear Rotors are designed as a direct replacement for your OEM rear brake discs, offering superior braking performance and durability. Featuring a high carbon alloy cast iron rotor and a 6061 aluminum hat (aircraft spec), these rotors provide improved cooling and reduced unsprung weight.

The rotor and hat are connected via a floating mount system, utilizing 10 high-strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured in the USA by Girodisc. These pins are cadmium plated to ensure long-lasting corrosion resistance, and the floating design allows the rotor to self-center between the brake pads, optimizing performance under heavy braking.

Brake Pad Compatibility:

Due to the unique hardware arrangement of the two-piece rotor, OEM brake pads and some aftermarket pads require modification to fit properly. This simple modification involves grinding down the pad backing plate to match the arc of the pad material. A detailed instruction guide and disclaimer are provided with the product.

All Girodisc brake pads sold for this application have already been CNC-modified for direct installation, offering a plug-and-play solution.
